LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The holiday season is in full swing, and some local organizations are already spreading the festive spirit.
Earlier this afternoon, Kentucky Kingdom made a special visit to Norton Children’s Hospital. The amusement park presented a $10,000 donation to support the hospital’s young patients.
Rather than a traditional toy drive, the park opted to give money so hospital staff can decide how best to use it for the children.
Kentucky Kingdom says this approach ensures kids get the care and support they need during the holidays.
Hospital staff welcomed the donation, noting it could help meet a variety of needs for patients and make the season a little brighter.
