The 33rd annual Indio International Tamale Festival kicked off at Miles Avenue Park Saturday, Dec. 6, and continues Sunday. It’s a popular event, with long lines for food and some luck required to find parking depending on when you arrive. But those who time it right can enjoy various sweet and savory options, alongside entertainment like carnival rides and live music.
