There are severe delays on the M4 on Tuesday morning as the M48 Severn Bridge has shut due to high winds, and the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge has partially closed. Drivers looking to cross over the border this morning are being faced with delays of around 30 minutes, and this is expected to worsen.

The M48 Severn Bridge is shut in both directions due to strong winds between J2 A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Chepstow) and J1 A403 ( Aust ). Drivers are being diverted over the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge.

Two lanes are closed on due to emergency lighting repairs on M4 Prince of Wales Bridge in both directions from J22 M49 to J23 M48.
