CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Cleveland Animal Protective League is joining shelters across the country for a weeklong adoption event celebrating a major milestone in animal welfare.
From Dec. 8-13, the APL will partner with Hill’s Pet Nutrition for the company’s Sweet 16 Million Adoptions Celebration, marking 16 million pet adoptions supported by Hill’s Food, Shelter and Love program since 2002.
The Cleveland APL will offer waived adoption fees for adult cats and dogs throughout the campaign, which is expected to bring increased foot traffic and help more animals find homes before the holidays.
