The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 Player Auction will feature a strong pool of 350 players, including 240 Indians and 110 overseas cricketers, when bidding begins in Abu Dhabi on December 16. This marks the first time the IPL has moved its auction out of India, giving the high-profile event a global edge.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that the final list was selected from 1,390 registrations, with the shortlisted group including 224 uncapped Indians and 14 uncapped overseas players.

Among India’s capped names, Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer headline the list, joined by several established international stars such as Cameron Green, Rachin Ravindra, Wanindu Hasaranga, David Miller, Anrich Nortje, Kyle Jamieson, Jonny Bairstow, and Steve Smith.
