After consulting the 10 franchises, the IPL trimmed down a list comprising 1390 players down to 350 for the upcoming mini auction. The auction will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 16 from 2:30 PM IST onwards. The mini auction pool includes 240 Indian and 110 are overseas recruits. In this, there are 224 uncapped Indian players and 14 uncapped overseas players.

There are 77 vacant spots of which 31 are reserved for overseas players.
