The Met Office says Storm Bram will bring strong winds and heavy rain to parts of the North East . Forecasters have issued a number of amber and yellow and weather warnings across the UK for Tuesday, including two covering parts of our region.

The Met Office has warned people living in Northumberland that they will experience strong winds. The yellow weather warning will come into force at midnight and remain in place until 6am on Wednesday.

They have also issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain across parts of County Durham . It will come into force at midnight and end at 3pm.
