Arne Slot has refused to confirm whether Mohamed Salah will return to the Liverpool squad for the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. Salah will miss tonight’s Champions League tie against Inter Milan after being left out of the Reds’ squad for the game at San Siro.

The decision to leave the forward at home came after he delivered a bombshell interview following his side’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United on Saturday night. During the interview, which lasted over seven minutes, Salah criticised Slot and his treatment by the club and suggested his future lies elsewhere.

He also claimed he had called his mother and instructed her to attend this Saturday’s Premier League clash against the Seagulls as it could be his last at Anfield as he is heading to the Africa Cup of Natio
