ATLANTA — A man facing trial in the murder of a grandmother in Buckhead three years ago pleaded guilty on Monday and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
Antonio Brown's trial was scheduled to start today before Judge Kevin Farmer, who handed down two life sentences to be served consecutively after Brown entered a non-negotiated plea.
Brown stabbed Eleanor Bowles to death on Dec. 10, 2022, when police believe she approached someone trying to steal her Lexus SUV.
Police said her son, Michael, who was coming home for the holiday to visit with Bowles, found her inside her home in the West Paces neighborhood.
