HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Breezy west winds will help boost our temperatures to even warmer than what we saw yesterday. Far Eastern Nebraska struggled yesterday, only into the 30s, so highs well into the 50s will be a huge improvement. For areas around the Tri-Cities and eastward will get into the 60s. There may even be a few upper 60s in Southwest Nebraska. As the day goes on, upper level clouds will increase. Winds will gradually increase into the afternoon. By later today, it’ll become rather windy in the Panhandle and Sandhills as a cold front begins to move into Northern Nebraska. Near and behind the front, some light rain or sprinkles will be possible. Winds will also turn northwesterly and really pick up into the evening hours.
