DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Jazz scores from films like “Whiplash,” “Casablanca” and even “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” will come to life at The Depot Theatre as the Duluth Community Jazz Band takes the stage.

The 16-piece big band will perform a program of musical numbers from favorite movies beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Admission is free but donations are accepted.

The concert runs about two hours long and includes an intermission.

Eric Johnson from the Duluth Community Jazz Band said this event is not only for those who love soundtracks or jazz.

He said it is for anyone who wants to, “Just support the mission of groups like this, that are providing a place for their community members to pursue this type of music.”
