Two teenagers have been arrested after a boy was reportedly threatened with a blade outside South Wirral High School, sparking a temporary lockdown this morning, Tuesday, December 9. The school in Eastham was secured after a 15-year-old boy was reportedly threatened by two males with a bladed weapon on nearby Plymyard Avenue.

Merseyside Police were called to the scene at around 8.40am. Nobody was injured during the incident, which the school said involved "individuals in the local community and not on our school site".
