Southern Health-Santé Sud has advised residents that an ongoing winter storm in southwestern Manitoba may cause delays and cancellations for appointments and scheduled health events across the region.
The health authority issued a public service announcement (PSA) today advising clients to call ahead before leaving their homes to confirm appointments. The advisory cited “imminent inclement weather and/or limited road access” as the primary concern, noting that power outages could also affect phone and online services, potentially preventing the health region from notifying clients of cancellations.
