Nigel Farage has been urged to sack a Reform UK candidate who said David Lammy should “go home” to the Caribbean.

Dr Chris Parry, who is running to be mayor of Hampshire and the Solent, said that was where the justice secretary’s “loyalties lie”.

His comments were unearthed by the Daily Telegraph , which also found that Parry had described female cabinet ministers as “harpies” and suggested parliament would be filled with Muslim MPs by 2035.

Parry, who served in the Royal Navy for 30 years, reacted on X to a report that Lammy was “open” to paying slavery reparations to former British colonies.

He wrote: “Lammy must go home to the Caribbean where loyalties lie.”
