WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WFSB) - A man was injured after an assault at a hotel in Windsor Locks over the weekend.

At around 11 p.m. officers received a 911 call about an injury to a guest at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel, the police department said.

Additional reports also said an armed robbery had occurred and the suspect involved had fled the scene.

When crews arrived, they were able to make contact with a man who was bleeding from lacerations to his head, face, hand and thigh.

After talking with the victim, he explained he left his cell phone in a female friend’s car who gave it to a mutual acquaintance.
