Cade Cunningham, Detroit Pistons learned to win from painful lessons

Cade Cunningham ’s smile said it all.

His final play of the game unfolded gracefully, as though it were choreographed. He weaved through all five Atlanta Hawks players — losing Dyson Daniels in the backcourt with a well-timed Jalen Duren screen, spinning through Daniels and Jalen Johnson’s outstretched arms as the duo attempted to trap him after he crossed half-court and finishing an up-and-under layup as three defenders collapsed around him in the paint.
