Manitoba Public Insurance is ending its long-standing first-come, first-served registration system for the Driver Z program, replacing it with a new multi-day sign-up process designed to eliminate early-morning lineups and ease pressure on families.
Beginning with the spring 2026 session, eligible students will no longer compete for spots on a single registration day. Instead, MPI will assign each eligible customer a designated, multi-day window in which they can enrol at their convenience. The change marks one of the most significant updates to the program’s registration system in years.
