A pair of twins from New Jersey were arrested and charged with threatening to kill Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin and called for shooting ICE on sight on social media, authorities announced Tuesday, Dec. 9.
Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores, both U.S. citizens who live in Absecon, were arrested following a search and arrest warrant by DHS and the Absecon Police Department SWAT team, DHS said in a release.
Emilio Roman-Flores is being charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of prohibited weapons, conspiracy terroristic threats, criminal coercion, threats, and cyber harassment, DHS said.
Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores is charged with conspiracy terroristic threats, DHS said.
The twins are being held by the Absecon Police Department in New Jersey and face federal charges.
