Storm Bram has arrived in a flurry of wind and rain with locals reporting fallen trees and flying debris across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

The storm has seen the Met Office issue a yellow weather warning across all of Scotland for wind, with some areas receiving an amber warning.

Residents have been warned of delays to road, rail, air, and ferry transport while coastal routes are likely to experience large waves. Short term loss of power is also possible.

Edinburgh Live received images that showcased just a portion of the evening's windy havoc.

One photo depicts a large shed toppled by winds and blown into a neighbouring yard in Dunbar. A local warned neighbours against walking the vennels between Wingate Crescent and Rigg Park due to flying debris.
