CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Its been nearly two months, and there are still no answers for the family of a woman killed at her SouthPark apartment.

Charlotte Mecklenburg police said Dwanneich Hammonds was shot at the Hazel SouthPark Apartments on October 13.

Toronda Massey, Hammonds’ aunt, says the family is frustrated and exhausted and just wants answers.

Police are staying tight-lipped about any leads in this case right now.

“My niece needs justice. Her life was robbed from her, robbed from her.” Massey said.

Massey says the holidays this year aren’t the same without Hammonds.

“We all like to cook. You know she makes the best cornbread stuffing, you know, and I was ready for that. I was so ready for that, and it didn’t matter,” Massey said.
