STAMFORD, Connecticut (WABC) -- New video captured the tense moments when shots were fired at authorities during a deadly standoff last week in Stamford, Connecticut.
The standoff ended with 63-year-old Jed Parkington taking his own life after talking to a police negotiator, but there are still many questions left unanswered.
Video captured the sound of bullets hitting an armored vehicle exactly one week ago.
The heavy gunfire erupted shortly after a state marshal showed up to evict homeowners after foreclosure, but Parkington refused to leave, barricaded himself inside, and opened fire on police, who returned fire.
During the hours-long standoff, Stamford police used drones to keep tabs on Parkington's position in the house, and to access what weapons he may have had.
