KENTUCKY — An organization offering Bible education to public school students during the school day is looking to expand its reach in Kentucky. Ohio-based LifeWise Academy serves nearly 100,000 students in 34 states, including Kentucky.

Starting next month, families in McCracken County Public Schools have the option to send their students for moral instruction through LifeWise Academy one day a week. The board unanimously approved the partnership earlier this year.

“It’s essentially one day a week, and it does fit in that time we refer to as arts classes or specials in elementary,” said Josh Hunt, superintendent of McCracken County Public Schools.
