LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Bottomless Toy Chest stopped by University of Michigan Health Sparrow Tuesday afternoon to deliver toys to hospitalized children.
The nonprofit aims to provide toys and gifts to kids in the hospital each holiday season.
The director of The Bottomless Toy Chest Ashley Wardford says it’s all about making the holidays fun for children going through tough times.
“It also provides emotional support for the children as well,” said Wardford. “So it’s always a joy and a blast to come and transform the clinic’s areas and to bring the fun and the magic of the holiday to the children.”
This was the 17th year that The Bottomless Toy Chest delivered toys to hospitalized children.
