Woman reportedly finds dead frog in salad kit bought at Ohio Kroger

POWELL, Ohio —

A woman who bought a salad kit at a Kroger in Ohio reportedly made a shocking discovery after opening it.

According to WCMH in Columbus , a shopper at a Kroger store in Powell, Ohio, discovered a dead frog in her BLT salad kit. Advertisement

The woman purchased a Kroger brand BLT with chicken and bacon salad kit at the Powell Road Kroger store.

After finding the frog, the woman returned to the store and management gave her a $100 gift card as an apology and told her they would alert Kroger’s corporate office.

“Food safety is a top priority, and we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products. We’ve been made aware of the incident and are further investigating this matter. Out of an abundance of caution, our store team immediately removed
