Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns have already endured a brutal stretch of back-to-back games within the same week. Even through the fatigue and heavy schedule, the Suns have managed to stay afloat with a respectable 14–10 record to start the campaign.
One of their most frustrating nights came against the Oklahoma City Thunder, when Phoenix suffered a 123–119 defeat. Now, the two teams are set to collide again on Wednesday in the NBA Cup quarterfinal. But this time, Booker, who is questionable to play against OKC, sounds far more confident. Recently, he hinted that the Suns have finally cracked the code on how OKC likes to defend.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault was later asked about Booker’s comments. In reply, he shrugged off the idea of any extra motivation.
