A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found dead outside of a pub.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died in an alleyway in Surrey after being found in broad daylight with serious injuries.

The body was found in the alleyway next to The Wheatsheaf in Kingston Road, Ewell at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, December 9. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene close to the pub and the man was treated for his injuries but he was sadly pronounced dead shortly after.
