NASHVILLE -- Juuse Saros made 39 saves and stopped all three shots in the shootout in a 4-3 win for the Nashville Predators against the Colorado Avalanche at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.
Cale Makar tied the game 3-3 with a power-play goal with eight seconds remaining in the third period for Colorado on a wrist shot from the point on a 6-on-4 advantage. Makar pump-faked Predators forward Michael McCarron at the point and his wrist shot beat Saros on the glove side.
Brady Skjei, Jonathan Marchessault and Reid Schaefer scored for the Predators (11-14-4), who have won three of their past four games.
