MANCHESTER, N.H. —

New Hampshire has been ranked one of the best states for snowshoeing.

The vacation home rental service "Wander" compiled the list based on the number of snowshoeing trails in each state.

New Hampshire came in fourth with 844 trails.

New York ranked first, Maine second, and Massachusetts third. Colorado rounded out the top five.
