MEDINA, Ohio – While winter weather has caused a delay in city leaf pickup this season, Service Director Nino Piccoli said the service department will resume leaf collection for as long as the weather allows.

“I have received calls from folks asking about leaf pickup and we are starting out again tomorrow and the rest of this week,” Piccoli said at a Dec. 8 council meeting. “We were delayed because heavy snow and ice wreak havoc on our equipment. But we will continue with leaf pick up until all the leaves are picked up or until the snow prohibits us from moving forward.”
