Jamie Carragher made a U-turn over his Mohamed Salah stance by apologising to the Liverpool forward on live television.
Carragher ran back comments made towards the Egyptian on Monday following the latter's bombshell interview at the weekend.
Salah said he had been ‘thrown under the bus’ by the club following Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Leeds on Saturday.
The 33-year-old's outburst came after he had been named on the bench for each of the Reds' last three Premier League matches.
As punishment for his remarks, Salah was left out of the squad for their Champions League win over Inter Milan on Tuesday.
