Nicholas Movsesian scored twice and Scotch Plains-Fanwood broke open a close game in the third period to beat Verona-Glen Ridge 5-2 at Warinanco Sports Center in Roselle.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood led 2-1 entering the final period and outscored the visitors 3-1 to seal the win.

Liam Bonifas added a goal and an assist for the Raiders (2-0), while Lorenzo Tittanegro made 26 saves.

James Benson and Gavin Farrell scored for Verona (2-1).
