NEW KENSINGTON, PA – A man from Ford City is facing charges after allegedly stealing more than $13,000 worth of high-value trading cards during a string of thefts at a New Kensington collectibles store, police said.
New Kensington police were called to the Feisty Goblin on Fifth Avenue in late November after store owners reported ongoing losses they believed were tied to a frequent customer. Surveillance footage showed the suspect, identified as 48-year-old Jeffrey Spang, entering the store on multiple occasions and concealing merchandise in a bag or waiting for moments when staff were distracted before walking out with the items.
