BOSTON —
A Boston woman is facing several charges after she assaulted a police officer during an incident Saturday evening, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said.
Avagadra Lipson, 27, is facing charges of reckless operation of a motor vehicle and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, along with other charges.
On Saturday at 9 p.m., Boston police officers responded to Beacon and Spruce streets in Roslindale for a car accident.
The 911 caller told police that a Honda Accord reversed into their parked car and that the driver refused to move or exchange information after the collision.
A responding officer told Lipson that she had to exchange information, Hayden said, only for her to attempt to drive off from the scene, pulling the officer forward and injuring his foot
