Police are investigating an early-morning stabbing in the area of a major Boston hospital.

Boston police said they received a report around 2 a.m. of a stabbing in the area of 850 Harrison Avenue. the address for Boston Medical Center. They said the victim had self-transported themselves to the hospital and was suffering from life-threatening injuries.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and also taken to the hospital, police said.
