At-large Council member Delishia Porterfield filed a resolution Dec. 9 voicing opposition to the project, which the group will consider at its last meeting of the year on Dec. 16.
If approved, the resolution would see the council voice explicit opposition to the project as a group for the first time since it was announced in July.
Before the year’s end, the Metro Nashville Council could take an official position on the Elon Musk-owned Boring Company’s Music City Loop project.
