MEDFORD, Ore. — Thanks to a watchful Medford neighbor, a burglary in progress was abruptly halted when a suspect fled the scene on foot after being confronted by a neighbor.
The Medford Police Department reports that the incident occurred last Friday night at a residence near the 100 block of Tripp Street.
An alert neighbor contacted the police department and reported a burglary in progress. The neighbor told police that he immediately checked his neighbor’s property after hearing the sound of breaking glass.
