KENTUCKY, USA — Our active, wintry December weather continues this week with another chance of accumulating snow Thursday night into Friday morning.
A clipper system will ride along the broader northwest wind flow, dropping a northwest-to-southeast band of snowfall across the Ohio Valley.
These clipper systems oftentimes don’t have as much Gulf moisture to work with, compared to a system like the one we saw Dec. 1 and Dec. 2, but can still produce light to moderate snow showers and disrupt the early commute.
As of this update, snow showers are most likely between 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.
