WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A memorial is starting up on Shattalon Drive outside of North Forsyth High School the morning after the deadly stabbing.

WFMY News 2's Giselle Thomas met the woman who put down the arrangement there named Tonya T. She said that as mother she is overwhelmed hearing about teen violence.

Tonya said she does not have children attending North Forsyth High School, but this tragedy is felt throughout this community. She said she came out here to show her support and compassion. Right now is when parents need to come together, Tonya said.
