THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - More than two dozen formerly convicted felons are getting a second chance to graduate at the Thomasville Day Reporting Center.

Twenty-five people took part in the commencement ceremony from the Thomasville Day Reporting Center on Tuesday to celebrate their completion of two phases of the sobriety support program.

The first phase of the sobriety support program provides stabilization, the second phase gives them the tools to manage coping skills and triggers, while the final phase has a commencement ceremony and aftercare.

The center is for people who were sentenced to probation or parole and are now under supervision. The program aims to help support people with their sobriety and stability, with an opportunity to turn a new leaf.
