Vincent Giannotti is closing in on building his 50th intricate, wooden dollhouse.
The 74-year-old from Tecumseh, Ont., started making them during the pandemic for his grandkids and neighbours.
He started giving them to children facing health challenges after being diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer — which has spread to his bones. Giannotti was forced to walk away from a career of project management and plumbing.

Giannotti estimates each miniature house takes up to 150 hours to build. They includes features such as tubs, showers, stoves, stained glass windows, Christmas lights and dressers with drawers that work.
