Most of central Wisconsin received between 4 and 7 inches of snow during a snowstorm that started the night of Tuesday, Dec. 9 and lasted into the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Northern Wood County had the highest totals in the area with Marshfield getting 7.1 inches of snow and Auburndale getting 7 inches, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
Other local snowfall totals, as reported to the National Weather Service Wednesday morning, include:

Medford: 3.5 inches
Plover: 6.7 inches
Rudolph : 6.8 inches
Scandinavia: 6.2 inches
Stevens Point: 5 inches
Vesper: 6 inches
Wausau: 4.1 inches
