DES MOINES, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa Air National Guard will hold its first show at the Des Moines Airbase since 1991.

The Iowa Air Show: Fields of Thunder is headed to the Iowa National Guard Des Moines Airbase May 8-9, 2027.

The show will feature a live demonstration by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

The weekend event will include aerial performances, aircraft displays and activities for families.

Tickets are expected to go on sale in fall 2026.
