PIKE COUNTY, Ky. — A Mingo County woman has been arrested over an attack on a woman in neighobring Kentucky.

Angel Hunt, 28, of Wharncliff is in a Kentucky jail. Kentucky State Police have charged her with atempted murder, first degree assault, first degree strangulation, and first degree arson.

The charges come after Kentucky troopers located the victim unresponsive last weekend in the community of Freeburn, Kentucky. According to investigators the victim had sufferedd multiple cuts, bruises, and burns and her home had been set on fire. The victim’s name was not released.

The case is under investigation.
