Richland Parish officials assure nobody was in danger as Meta site evacuated

RICHLAND PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Richland Parish Sheriff’s Office announced no gas leak was found on the Meta site.

RPSO said a possible gas leak was reported on Tuesday, and all construction workers were evacuated.

According to RPSO, no gas leak was found.

The sheriff’s office said local residents, workers, and the nearby school “were never in danger.”
