HADDONFIELD, New Jersey (WPVI) -- The late Dorcas Reilly, considered to be the 'Grandmother of the Green Bean Casserole,' has left a legacy that her family is keen on continuing.
Reilly, a former employee of The Campbell's Company, worked in what's now known as the Campbell's Test Kitchen in the mid-1900s .
She became an ambassador for the recipe, which has been utilized and remixed by families across the nation over the past 70 years.
Reilly unfortunately developed Alzheimer's disease and passed away in 2018.
That's when her family became friends with TV host and cookbook author, Chadwick Boyd.
Boyd recently collaborated with the family to create the 'Green Bean Casserole For Good' campaign. Through it, they are selling t-shirts to raise funds for The Bates-Stoklosa Family Lega
