A Connecticut man pleaded not guilty Tuesday after prosecutors charged him with throwing a firework at a Boston police cruiser, setting the vehicle on fire during an October “street takeover” in the South End.
David Antonio Moran, also known as David Moran-Chavez, was arrested at his Norwalk home last Thursday. He was transported to Boston after waiving extradition, officials said. The 19-year-old faces charges of burning a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of fireworks, disturbing the peace, and conspiracy, according to Boston police.
