MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Wisconsin Capitol Holiday Tree is getting some national recognition.

The Tree was added to 2025’s USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards list for “Best Public Holiday Lights Display”.

The winners were chosen through a public vote, which closed Dec. 1, and selected by USA Today’s 10BEST editors and “a panel of subject matter experts”, officials said.
