GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - - Blues legend Mac Arnold brought his I Can Do Anything Foundation to Benjamin Mays Elementary School to share musical instruments and inspiration with students.
Arnold’s foundation donated a drum set and an electric bass to Terri Allen’s music class, supporting the school’s arts program.
“I just love it when kids try to learn to play instruments. It’s a great thing,” Arnold said. “It gives the students something to do other than stare at their phones all day long.”

Arnold’s introduction to the school came after Anne Eller, owner of local radio station WCRS, explored ways to connect students with the musicians she regularly interviews.
