SWAINSBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We have new details about the man accused of killing a 34-year-old woman whose body was found in her Swainsboro home.

Authorities said early this week that Amber Nichole Fields was found inside her home in the 600 block of North Coleman Street Extension.

A family member found her inside the house after she didn’t report for work.

Judge weighs halting Ga. execution based on pandemic deal

A federal judge is set to hear arguments Tuesday in a lawsuit filed by lawyers for Stacey Humphreys, who is scheduled to die on Dec. 17.

On Monday, Charles Justin Davis, 40, of Swainsboro, was arrested and charged with one felony count of malice murder for the death of Fields, according to investigators.
