ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A sixth suspect has been arrested for their alleged role in a deadly drive-by shooting in Orangeburg.
Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Wednesday that 18-year-old Jatarrius Penciel has been arrested and charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.
Penciel is the sixth person to be arrested for their alleged connection to a Nov. 17 drive-by shooting on Mingo Street that killed 21-year-old Kyree Walker.
Walker was shot in the face and later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.
“We’re continuing this investigation until anyone remotely associated with the case is locked up,” the sheriff said. “We’re not finished with this investigation.”
